I combine hypnosis with mindfulness coaching

Hypnosis creates change by giving your mind a new way to look at a problem. It is not mind control. When I talk about using mindfulness, it's about helping you be aware of what your mind is full of, without judgement. Being mindful means you are choosing your thoughts consciously to create the life you want. When you are mindful you increase your ability to cope with stress, pain, addictions, and the challenges of everyday life. It is a tool that allows you to see your world from a new vantage point. You become better able to separate yourself from negative thoughts, emotions, and bodily sensations that may be present, often before they become too overwhelming. You begin to live more in the present moment, with less attachment to the past, and less ruminating about a future yet to unfold. Through a few minutes of consistent daily practice, you can begin to rewire your brain.
.
In difficult past life regressions and in hypnotherapy, I use mindfulness techniques to guide you through challenging situations that may arise, to help you understand what you’re carrying through lifetimes and empower you to release it once and for all. It's a process that leaves you feeling empowered through all your lifetimes. In hypnotherapy it is used to give you tools to continue on your path of release and joy. I offer ongoing coaching to those who want additional support. Please call or email with any questions.

Being mindful means:
- living in the moment, less rumination
- feeling calmer, less anxious
- being more centered in your approach to life
- feeling better able to manage your reactions and responses
- feeling the simplest joys in life
- recognizing the ease of simply being
This is a 13 minute TEDx talk that has some great information on mindfulness. At the end she gives a simple (takes a few seconds) exercise that is enough to get you started.

For those who like the Science...
Scientific studies and the use of fMRI is showing the effects mindfulness techniques have on the human brain. For those interested, I've included some of the studies frequently cited under the benefits of mindfulness listed below. Mindfulness allows us to develop self-observation, which physically disengages the automatic neural pathways that were learned through prior experiences and enables present-moment awareness to be integrated in a new way (Siegel, 2007a).
