I grew up in a home that explored religious and spiritual beliefs - both eastern and western. At an early age I learned to meditate and was exposed to astrology, numerology, mediums, Reiki and other forms of energy healing, remote healing and surgery, the teachings of Edgar Cayce, and the desire to ask questions and explore all possibilities. When I was in high school my grandmother was diagnosed with cancer. Ultimately she passed from this lifetime. It was then I decided to become a nurse, to bring balance to my understanding of healing from both an alternative and traditional approach. A truly holistic approach that recognizes the relationship between the mind, body, and spirit.
I have been a registered nurse since 1981, practicing in both critical care and the emergency department. I've had many opportunities to ease patients through the transition from life to death. Many realizations about life occur in those final days, hours and moments. Sometimes this is a beautiful experience with expressions of love, and if needed, forgiveness of self, and often forgiveness between patients and their family members. I was witness to the amazing healing that can take place in mind, body, and spirit. Sometimes there was regret, with patients wishing they had made realizations sooner, so they could have conducted their lives in more fulfilling, meaningful ways. This began my interest in self-awareness and making changes to improve the quality and joy in our lives while we are still "living".
In searching for answers in my own life, I decided to experience a past life regression to gain a deeper understanding of self and my life purpose. While the life I regressed to was a difficult one, I felt safe to explore the meaning behind that short, difficult life. After that life, I slipped into a beautiful and loving light, where the message of forgiveness, and unconditional love was transformational. As I moved through the regression, I gained insight into the patterns of current behaviors and a releasing of that old energy. There were many beautiful moments and realizations.
